Trigeneration

Trigeneration is a special field of cogeneration systems.

Besides producing electricity, it also allows using recycled heat energy from transformation to produce refrigeration energy, i.e., refrigerated water for air-conditioning or industrial processes.

The transformation of heat energy into refrigeration energy is made possible by using the absorption refrigeration cycle which operates on the basis of the transformation of the state of the coolant together with the substance used as absorbent.

The main benefits of trigeneration are:
